One MSP, one Monday.Everything in one place.

Follow Northwind Managed IT, a sample six-client MSP, through a normal week in Opcrunch: from the first email of the morning to the money landing in the bank.

Email becomes a ticket on its own.

Avery at Greenline Dental replies to last week’s thread. The reply lands on T-1042, the ticket reopens, and the tech who owns it is told.

RMM alerts open the right ticket, once.

NinjaOne reports the C: drive on GL-WS-07 below 5%. Opcrunch matches the synced device, opens one critical ticket for Greenline with the device attached, and alerts the team. Repeats add to it; clearing adds a note.

  • NinjaOne, Datto RMM, N-able and Syncro
  • Rules to ignore noise or set priority
  • No duplicate tickets for a flapping alert

Repeat-offender devices turn into quotes.

The dashboard flags devices with three tickets in 90 days, or two when they are old or out of warranty. One click starts a replacement quote with the device and client filled in.

  • Thresholds you can explain to a client
  • Banner on the ticket while you work it
  • Hardware revenue from work you already did

Projects show burn before it’s a problem.

The Windows 11 refresh for Harbor is 96% through its $5,000 budget with two of three tasks done, so it shows amber on the dashboard. Approved time is the only thing that counts. Start projects straight from an accepted quote.

  • Milestones and tasks are real tickets
  • Hours or fixed-fee budgets

Billing runs itself, and you still approve it.

On the day you choose, agreements become draft invoices. You review them on one screen, issue and email them together, and every invoice carries a pay link. Card and bank payments land in your own Stripe account and sync to QuickBooks.

  • Scheduled drafts, never auto-sent
  • Stripe Connect: money goes straight to you
  • QuickBooks Online: invoices out, payments both ways

Clients help themselves.

Contacts sign in with a link, no password. They open requests, reply, follow projects and pay invoices. They only ever see their own company, and never your internal notes, time or margins.

  • Magic-link sign-in

  • Isolation proven by automated checks
